TheVillage

At The Village, we understand the importance of being green and as such have employed a range of energy efficient design principles to make sure we are doing all we can for the environment. Certainly a leafy locale demands such a green approach. Some of the sustainable design principles include:

  • Heat recovery system

Heat that is usually wasted in air-conditioning is instead captured and reused to heat residential hot water. This creates a more efficient water heating system that both reduces your running costs and is good for the environment

  • Cross-flow ventilation

Which allows you to utilise sea breezes to naturally cool your home

  • Independent water harvesting

By sourcing our own water supply, you are always assured of a lush green landscaped setting

  • Energy and water efficient appliances and fittings

Have been selected and installed to ensure even further savings. Overall, these innovations will save each unit on average, around 60.5 litres per day (making 22,082.5 litres per year) as well as a remarkable 2,600 kg of CO2 per year for a three-bedroom apartment. That's more the average motor vehicle emits over six months!
