OCULUS is a design studio that creates projects in the public domain, which aspire to be challenging, contemporary and multi-dimensional whilst encouraging different levels of engagement with the site and the people that occupy it. The studio has a commitment to projects that bolster social interaction, are based on achieving public amenity and ecological sustainability and contribute to the public life of cities and places.

OCULUS maintains a global interlinked practice with studios in Sydney, Melbourne, and Washington DC, and has successfully designed and managed several projects in these three centres as well as places as diverse as New Zealand, Perth, Singapore, Shanghai, Beijing and beyond.

OCULUS sees the design of public space as a vehicle to engage people with their neighbourhood and city; parks and civic spaces play an important role in restoring community pride and a sense of place.
